XTRA! XTRA! READ ALL ABOUT IT!

When I was a struggling newspaper hawker in NYC as a young boy, I used to yell "EXTRA! EXTRA! READ ALL ABOUT IT!" to every pedestrian I spotted on the sidewalk. 

Now all these years later, I was reminded of my youth when I visited Xtrordinary Pizza in Indianapolis. 

To be clear, this pizzeria doesn't serve NY style pizza and it isn't a by-the-slice shop. But it is XTRA good and XTRA tasty.

It is right down the road from New Bethel Ordinary and we've heard tell that it is owned by NBO's previous owners. There are certainly some similarities between the two pizzerias' pizzas.

At any rate, they pile on the toppings (under the cheese) and they have a nice, tasty crust (which is my primary area of concern.). I'd recommend giving them a shot if you're ever in the Wanamaker area. 

Their breaksticks are good too. My recommendation is to avoid their cheese dipping sauce in favor or their marinara dipping sauce.
