History Meets Pizza
Indiana Farmers Coliseum (concession stand)
The Coliseum at the Indiana State Fairgrounds (currently named Indiana Farmers Coliseum) was built as part of FDR's WPA in 1939. Since then it has hosted a TON of noteworthy performers, including The Beatles, Elvis, and Lil Yachty. The building has also held sporting events ranging from Indiana Pacers games to roller derby. It is a great and historically significant building.
Sadly, their concession stand pizza is not so great. The presentation is nice, but the taste leaves something to be desired. I will say though that their crust is suprisingly soft and that does help. Also, compared to the other items they sell at their concession stands, the pizza is 5 stars. The tenderloin sandwich there, as an example, is pretty gross.
What kind of pizza did you have? plain cheese
